PARENT INVOLVEMENT

Parents at First Presbyterian Preschool have the wonderful opportunity to get involved with our children at the preschool all throughout the year. Not only do our teachers and administrators encourage volunteering, they welcome us into school warmly. It is through this environment that we can all work together with the common goal of giving our children the best education and preschool experience possible.

Life is busy, and especially busy for families with young children! Therefore, volunteering looks different for each family. We need volunteers in the school, from planning classroom parties to chaperoning field trips to being an extra set of hands on picture day. But we also need volunteers to support our Room Parent Fund and send in supplies for our teachers. Our hope is to get every family involved at FPP, in any way possible. When we all work together, the biggest winner is our children!

Our annual auction also presents more volunteer opportunities for our parents to be involved. The fundraiser is not only a fun night out for parents, but it also raises important funds for our preschool to have unique and meaningful learning experiences available to students. The auction needs volunteers for its committees: acquisitions, inventory, event design, and day-of volunteers.

However you choose to be involved at FPP, we know it will enhance your child’s time at FPP. We hope to see you soon!
