The First Step in the Path of Lifelong Learning

First Presbyterian Preschool is a special place where children interact with their physical and social environment in order to understand the world and to find their place in it.

Welcome to First Presbyterian Preschool, a warm and nurturing learning environment nestled in the heart of midtown Atlanta. Founded in 1946, our preschool is the oldest, continuously operating preschool in Georgia.

Our young students explore their interests and express their ideas through projects and play—an approach that supports our Reggio Emilia-inspired and project-based curriculum.

Our teachers and staff are committed to developing enthusiasm for learning and knowledge. And our warm, inviting classrooms and spaces foster creativity and encourage interaction and communication.

Our midtown location also allows us access to many fabulous programs offered by our neighbors. We have partnerships with the High Museum, Alliance Theatre, MODA, and the Atlanta Public Library, to name just a few.
