An online application form will be available beginning November 1, 2011. The 2012-2013 Application & Registration Process is as follows:
Current Students and Siblings – November 1 – January 13
- On November 1, parents of current students will receive an emailed application for the 2012-2013 school year. This form and the $110.00 application fee are due by January 13, 2012.
- Online application forms and fees not submitted by the deadlines listed above are placed behind those timely submitted.
- A lottery system will be utilized if there are more applicants than spaces available.
- Notification of placement will be sent via U.S. mail to parents on Friday, February 3, 2012.
- In order to maintain placement, parents should visit the provided web link to complete the confirmation form no later than February 17, 2012 to verify that you are accepting a space. Failure to complete the online form by February 17 will result in your child’s name being removed from our class lists and replaced with a child on the waiting list.
Church Members and Siblings of Former Students- November 1 – January 13
- Beginning November 1, 2011, Church Members and Siblings of former FPP students may complete an online application for the 2012-2013 school year. This form and the $110.00 application fee per child are due by January 13, 2012.

Waiting List
A waiting list will be maintained for children who do not secure a place in our program. It is common for openings to become available near the notification date of February 17, as well as points leading up to the first tuition payment in April. Parents are invited to affirm their continued interest in their child’s placement and to inquire whether or not there is movement on the waiting list.
Tours
We encourage parents considering FPP to learn more about the school and observe the classes in action by attending a tour. Here are the tour dates for 2011-2012:

All tours start at 10:00 am, and last 45 minutes to an hour. Please call or e-mail the preschool to let us know which day you would like to attend.

Application Form
The deadline for making applications was Friday, January 13. To place your child’s name on our waiting list, please complete an application form. We will contact you as a space comes available, which often occurs at various points between February 3- April 30.

Scholarships
Through the Mamie Heinz Scholarhip Fund, First Presbyterian Preschool offers tuition assistance to a limited number of families demonstrating need. For the 2011-2012 school year, the preschool awarded $40,000 in tuition assistance. Our goal is to provide a quality preschool experience for children whose families could not otherwise afford the full tuition amount. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please complete a
scholarship application and submit required documents no later than January 18, 2012. Limited scholarship monies are available following the initial admission notification sent on February 3, 2012.
